AL.R. Reading - Students will:
R.1. Exhibit phonemic awareness, including identifying and categorizing phonemes, orally blending phonemes into one-syllable words, segmenting one-syllable words into phonemes, and rhyming.
R.2. Demonstrate letter-sound association, including matching letters to corresponding spoken sounds and blending letter sounds into one-syllable words, using printed materials.
R.3. Identify upper- and lower-case letters.
R.4. Use words that describe and represent real-life objects and actions.
R.4.1. Using a variety of emergent reading materials
