Gordon Korman describes himself as "a regular guy who just happened to write 100 books for kids and teens." The beloved, prolific author is known for such middle-grade classics as The Fort, The Unteachables, and his most recent novel, Linked.

His first book, This Can’t Be Happening at MacDonald Hall, was published by Scholastic when he was a freshman in high school, and he’s been writing ever since. His books have been translated into 32 languages and have sold over 35 million copies worldwide. Korman earned a BFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University, and for many years has lived on Long Island, outside New York, with his family.
