Missouri State Standards for Mathematics: Kindergarten

Currently Perma-Bound only has suggested titles for grades K-8 in the Science and Social Studies areas. We are working on expanding this.

N.1.B. Represent and use rational numbers: recognize 1/2 of a shape (DOK 1; MA5 1.10)

N.1.C. Compose and decompose numbers: use concrete objects to compose and decompose values up to 10 (DOK 2; MA1 1.6)

MO.N.3. Number and Operations: Compute fluently and make reasonable estimates.

N.3.B. Develop and demonstrate fluency: connect number words (orally) and quantities they represent (DOK 1; MA1 1.10)

MO.A.1. Algebraic Relationships: Understand patterns, relations and functions.

A.1.A. Recognize and extend patterns: recognize or repeat sequences of sounds or shapes (DOK 2; MA4 1.6)

A.1.B. Create and analyze patterns: create and continue patterns (DOK 2; MA4 1.6)

MO.A.3. Algebraic Relationships: Use mathematical models to represent and understand quantitative relationships.

A.3.A. Use mathematical models: model situations that involve whole numbers, using pictures, objects or symbols (DOK 2; MA1 1.6)

MO.G.1. Geometric and Spatial Relationships: Analyze characteristics and properties of two- and three-dimensional shapes and develop mathematical arguments about geometric relationships.

G.1.A. Describe and use geometric relationships: identify and describe 2- and 3-dimensional shapes using physical models (circle, rhombus, rectangle, triangle, sphere, rectangular prism, cylinder, pyramid) that represent shapes in their environment (DOK 2; MA2 1.10)

MO.G.2. Geometric and Spatial Relationships: Specify locations and describe spatial relationships using coordinate geometry and other representational systems.

G.2.A. Use coordinate systems: describe, name and interpret relative positions in space (above, below, front, behind) (DOK 2; MA2 1.10)

MO.G.3. Geometric and Spatial Relationships: Apply transformations and use symmetry to analyze mathematical situations.

G.3.A. Use transformations on objects: use manipulatives to recognize from different perspectives and orientations models of slides and turns (DOK 2; MA2 1.6)

MO.M.1. Measurement: Understand measurable attributes of objects and the units, systems and processes of measurement.

M.1.A. Determine unit of measurement: compare and order objects according to their size and weight (DOK 2; MA2 1.8)

M.1.C. Tell and use units of time: describe passage of time using terms such as today, yesterday, tomorrow (DOK 2; MA2 3.1)
