All students need to develop conflict resolution skills at some point during their education. While some grasp these skills at an earlier age than others, it is important to periodically introduce scenarios at all age levels for students to examine, and then determine logical courses of action. For example, even the youngest students need to understand what a "bully" is, and how to deal with one in a non-violent, reasonable manner. In addition, students at every level will at some point find themselves in a conflict with a classmate. How they choose to handle these conflicts will ultimately help shape how they handle life's problems as adults.

Perma-Bound has a variety of titles for grades K-12 that can help you promote appropriate conflict resolution skills with your students, as well as deal with feelings such as anger and sadness.
