The Home Page
Clicking the Perma-Bound logo will bring you back to the homepage. Clicking on Perma-guy will take you to our binding page which will describe how our books become the strongest books you can buy.
Our new left hand menu has been designed to replace many of the functions that were on the old 'Perma-Bound Features' page. It works similarly to our previous left hand menu. However, we've added drop down ability to some functions on the left hand side. This allows you to view larger amounts of material without taking up a lot of space on your Internet browser. In order to use these functions, simply click on the heading and more options will drop down for you to choose from.
The Search Bar
Our search bar has been upgraded to allow for better navigation. All of the options you previously had are still available. However, clicking on the login link above the search bars, will allow a user to login from any page on our site. No longer will you have to go to a seprate page in order to login. Just click the login link and that will switch the search bar to a username and password box. The first box is where you will type your username, and the second is where your password goes.
Once you are logged in, you can log out any time by clicking on the 'Logout: {username}' link, that is displayed above the search entry box.
Search Results
Our search results have been modified to promote easier reading. Note: This is the view when logged in. You will not have all the options, if you are not logged in.
While our search results may seem different, they are simply a revision of our current design. All of the features that previously were available on our old site, are still available on this one, they have just been moved to make navigation easier. One of the first things to take notice of are the four tabs at the top of the search results page. These four tabs will narrow a search into four specific types of products. The 'All' tab is the default setting for search results. However, you can just view the other material for a particular search by clicking the appropriate tab. As you may notice, the filter and sort options have moved to the left hand menu. These work similarly to the links on the homepage. Clicking on the heading will drop down more functions for the user to choose from.
My Account
When you login, you will be brought to the "My Account" page. Like many of the other changes we have made, this page contains all of the information it previously did. We have moved the "Manage My Collection," the "Searches", and "User Information" to separate pages, this allows more to be seen.
Online Collection Analysis and Planning (CAP)
Our free online CAP program will allow you to analyze your libraries full collection at the click of a button. This program analyzes the Dewey codes and copyright dates along with other information, and will offer you detailed tables of collection information, as well as full-color charts and graphs of the results. We even offer a special section on the incomplete MARC records in your collection, so that you can maintain the best data integrity. Another benefit of CAP is that all of the tables, charts, and graphs can be downloaded and printed in a full-color PDF format, also free of charge.

Multiple Catalog/ISBN Number Search
We have added a new type of search program to Perma-Bound.com. This new program will allow you to search for
multiple catalog or ISBN numbers at once, without a limit to the size of the list. This search program is accessible
from the tan info box on the Perma-Bound homepage, or through the “Searches” section on the
right-hand side of the “My Account” page.

Simply click on the first letter of the information you are looking for and once you have found the right link, click on the name to be taken to that corresponding page.
