These theme levels begin with the introductory study of genres for grade 9 and advance to American literature, British literature, and World literature for grades 10 through 12.

Student and Teacher’s Sets are available for each thematic level. We also offer an additional set of peripheral/substitute titles for each theme. Student and Teacher’s Edition Master Sets, comprising all titles offered with an individual theme, may also be selected. Prices vary.

Suggest post-reading activities for groups and individuals Encourage reading, writing, discussion, and listening as adjuncts to critical thinking		Introduce assorted applications of a single theme. Example, Redemption or Alienation. Show literary devices as a means of expressing a theme. Example, internal monologue. Encourage individual learning styles. Example, film analysis, outlining, discussion, composition, research, debate. Extend themes through practical applications. Example, journals, letter-writing, role-playing.
